Are you insured?

Yes, we are insured. This should be the first question anyone asks before reserving an inflatable.

Is there a Release of Liability Wavier?

Yes, we must have the supervising adult of your party sign our Release of Liability Waver before we can setup our inflatable units for your party. The Liability Waver will be provided upon arrival and delivery of our services. Please note: Due to our insurance requirements, we will be unable to provide our services without this form being signed by the supervising adult.

How safe are your inflatables?

Our inflatables are constructed with quality and safety in mind! All of our units have a safety entrance/exit ramp for the children's protection and safety and emergency exit flaps in the roof. Each unit is constructed of only the very best commercial grade 18 to 21 oz. vinyl, with double and quadruple stitching. All of the materials are fire retardant. The windows of the bounces are made of specially designed mesh netting, which allows for easy viewing and minimizes the chances of getting entangled. We will also supply recommended guidelines for safe use and recommended number of children allowed in the inflatable at any one time. Beware of cheap, unsafe, imitation inflatables!

How much room do I need?

When renting a 15' x 15' moonwalk, you would need a space of at least 20' x 20'. and a 20' by 38' area for the slide. The area should be level, free of rocks, sticks, etc. and any in ground sprinkler systems should be shut off and not sticking up.  Five feet of clearance is recommended around the entire moonwalk for safety.  Don't forget to check overhead for low hanging tree limbs or electrical lines.  It is a bad idea to have the moonwalk touching any tree branches as they can fall and puncture the unit or hurt one of the bouncers or spectators.  Make sure your outside electrical outlet is in working order.  Mow your lawn at least one day prior to your event, as it will help keep the moonwalk clean for your children and the equipment. If you have a dog, please clean the yard prior to the moonwalk delivery.  The morning of your event, please remove car(s) from the driveway, clear the area where the moonwalk will be set up and clear access to the area.

Does the moonwalk need to be anchored?

Yes, we use stakes to secure the moonwalk when placed on a lawn or we use sand bags when setting up on driveways or other solid surfaces.

Can your inflatables be set up indoors?

Yes, our units can be set up inside or outside! You will need to have enough ceiling height (about 18-20) to accommodate the inflatable. The inflatable must not be set up to near hot lights, a/c vents, or any fire hazard. Many commercial halls, malls, gyms, etc. will do just fine.

Can I set up the inflatable near my pool?

No, safety is our number one concern. The moonwalk or slide must be set up a safe distance from any pool, at least 20 feet.

How are they powered?

Moonwalks are inflated using a fully enclosed electric blower unit that is powered by a standard 110 volt, 20 AMP, three-prong electrical outlet with a GFI. Electricity is needed within 100 feet of the moonwalk. These motors run constantly to keep the unit inflated. A generator may be used to power the moonwalk (if an electrical outlet is unavailable) and can be rented from Airbounce Amusements for a $50.00 fee.

What time do you deliver and pick up the inflatable?

You decide on the specific rental time and we will be there anywhere from thirty minutes to six hours before that for set up. You do not pay for set up or take down time. Your rental period is for the day, typically six to eight hours. Additional hours and overnight set ups are available for a minimal additional charge. We pick up the unit after the party is over, but please allow up to five hours for pick up. If an exact delivery or pick up time is needed, just let us know. We will be more than happy to make any arrangements that you may need. We usually recommend only renting water slides for up to four to five hours because your party will likely turn in to a mud party if it is any longer. Most of our water slides require continuous water to be used which over time can ruin your yard and cause a great deal of mud. Four to five hours of use with low water pressure will help prevent this. Note: You must supply a water source for water slides, as well as a water hose.

Who sets up the inflatable?

We set up the moonwalk or slide and take it down when we come to pick it up. This is done to ensure your safety and the safety of the equipment. Set up time is approximately 20-30 minutes for the moonwalks and 30-40 minutes for the slide. We ask that if you use the slide as a water slide that you turn off the water, empty the pool and dry it off one hour before we arrive, but leave the unit inflated, so that it may continue to dry.

Why can't I pick up the inflatable and set it up myself to cut costs?

Safety is our number one concern. We personally set up and pick up every rental. The set up area will be evaluated, the correct size, type, and length of power cord will be used and they make sure all of the connections are correctly made. We will use the proper straps, stakes, tie downs, and anchors to secure the inflatable to the ground and ensure its safe operation. Also, each unit is rather large and weighs in excess of 220 pounds, so your safety in transport of these items is also our concern.

How do I make a reservation?

For your convenience the fastest way to reserve your moonwalk is through our web site. You can also call 203-634-0692, if there is no answer, please leave a brief message with your name, number, event date and which unit you are interested in and we will return your call. If you leave a message it is our promise that we will call you back within twenty four hours of your call.

How far in advance should I make my reservations?

Please make your reservations as soon as possible. All of our inflatables (bounces and slides) are very popular and sometimes we are booked weeks and even months in advance. The sooner you call, the more likely you are to be able to obtain the item you want.

How do you confirm the event?

With on-line orders you will receive an e-mail confirmation prior to your event. For phone orders we will call to confirm your event the day before your event.

What is the policy in case of rain, cold temperatures or high wind?

THE INFLATABLE BOUNCES MUST NOT BE USED IN HEAVY RAIN, OR WHEN WINDS EXCEED 15 MPH! THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT SAFETY ISSUE! If it starts to rain and the inside of the bouncer gets wet, everyone should exit the moonwalk the blower unit should be turned off at the unit, and then unplugged. The moonwalk unit becomes very slippery and dangerous when wet. Once the rain stops, plug the blower unit back in and turn it on. You can wait for the unit to dry or dry it with towels. Once dry, the moonwalk should be once again safe to use. **Please call us at 203-634-0692 if you have weather related questions once your unit has been set up. No refunds will be given once the inflatable has been setup and the equipment contract signed.
